About

Hi, I’m Wade. Welcome to Wade-On.

A while back I was diagnosed with primary lateral sclerosis (PLS), and I had to slow down quite a bit — at least at first. By God’s grace, I’ve been figuring out how to do things differently, conserve my energy, and live as best I can with the time He has given me.

This blog is where I write about faith, tell funny stories, and try to offer a little encouragement to anyone who needs it.

As for the name: when the water gets deep, you don’t stop walking — you wade on. (Having the name Wade made that one too good to pass up.)

And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain. The first things passed away. And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” — Revelation 21:4–5

Thanks for stopping by. Wade on, friend.
